Complete quality control from hive to home
Manuka honey is a precious and delicate resource that requires careful handling and processing to ensure its special natural properties are retained during the extraction and packing process.
Unlike many Manuka honey companies, Manuka Health owns the full process from the hive to jar – from our 20,000 beehives, to our own extraction and processing facility and our in-house quality testing laboratory. This we believe is crucial to ensuring that the honey we produce is guaranteed to meet quality and food safety standards as well as retaining its potent natural properties that make it so revered around the world.
Brief History
Manuka Health New Zealand was founded in 2006 by CEO Kerry Paul, who from his living room began a labour of love that less than 10 years later has grown into a global business with a distribution network spanning 45 countries.
Based in Kerry’s hometown of Te Awamutu, New Zealand, Manuka Health is now a major employer in the region, and one of the largest global manuka honey companies.
Manuka Health’s commitment from the very beginning has been to provide premium natural products that combine the very best of nature and science. Utilising natural ingredients unique to New Zealand to produce a wide range of premium products.
Manuka Health in the Philippines
Manuka Health has been providing quality honey since early 2000, but up until recently the only way to get Manuka Health honey in the Philippines was buying through neighboring countries like Hong Kong and Singapore, or through online shopping.
That all changed in 2011 when Bee Healthy Trading & Distribution Inc. became the exclusive distributor of Manuka Health Honey in the Philippines. Bee Healthy Trading has partnered with well-known delivery services to provide nationwide delivery to bring Manuka Health honey to every Filipino household.
Later that year, Manuka Health expanded its operations to weekend bazaars in malls, such as Lucky China Town, Eastwood Mall, and Trinoma, to bring a more comprehensive experience to consumers.
In November of 2012, Manuka Health opened its first store at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, further establishing its commitment to its customers in bringing them the most potent Manuka Honey in the world. As of March 2021, Manuka Health Philippines has opened 11 branches in various malls located all over the country including Cebu and Davao.
